Description
The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact. The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor. Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected. This threaded cylindrical (M30) inductive proximity sensor is designed for explosive atmosphere (ATEX). It is made of metal and it is flush mountable.
Its nominal sensing distance is 15mm, it supports 1 normally closed PNP discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 500Hz. It works in a temperature range of -20°C and +60°C, it is dustproof and waterproof (IP67). It is made of metal. It measures 62mm (length) x 30mm (diameter). This inductive proximity sensor is designed to be used in explosive atmosphere (ATEX). This sensor is certified INERIS 04ATEX0022X and IEC-Ex INE 17.0006. It complies with the EN/IEC 60079-31 and EN/IEC 60079-0 standards. The main advantage of the inductive detection offered by the sensors of the XS range is that there is no physical contact with the object to be detected.
